Amazing Japan Lounge is a small-group cultural experience designed especially for international visitors, offering an intimate introduction to the shamisen, Japan’s traditional three-stringed instrument.
Experience a powerful live shamisen performance from just a few meters away, where you can feel the rhythm, vibration, and energy of the instrument in a way that is impossible from a large theater seat.
After the performance, enjoy a talk session with the musician and learn about the shamisen’s history, unique sound, playing techniques, and its role in Japanese performing arts.
You can also discover the instrument up close and experience the techniques and movements that create its distinctive sound.
The experience concludes with a commemorative photo session with the artist, giving you a lasting memory of your encounter with Japanese music.
More than simply listening to traditional music, this is an opportunity to connect directly with the artist, instrument, and culture behind the sound.
See. Hear. Talk. Connect.
Amazing Japan Lounge offers a new encounter with Japanese culture that you wouldn't find through sightseeing alone.
